Working through the transmission and exhaust setup.

Lots of detail painting on the transmission and masking. The exhausts have had a dose of polished alloy on them and then some clear orange, blue and some burnt metal

Full steam ahead on the M19 this afternoon. Mate the engine to the tub, and now starting the transmission setup.

Looking back at one of my favorite builds from last year, this chassis of Chris Amons Ferrari 312 - Monaco in 1/20 scale would have to be up there.

It’s a beautiful car of a terrifying but beautiful era of formula 1.

He used to live just down the road from me when he retired as a farmer and has recently been immortalised in a statue in his home town of Bulls - New Zealand.

Now to work out the finish of the exhausts. Polished or burnt copper look. 🤔

One of the most complex and intense chassis assemblies I’ve ever done was the MFH Rothmans Porsche 956.

Some of these high end builds look really good with the body off, it reveals so much the inner workings of a race car.

More wiring goodness on the Judd V8. It’s progressing nicely.

I’m needing to record all the wiring lengths that will go into the instructions and heat shrink sizes and so on. This one will be quite an intense project for the builder, nothing will be omitted from the build.

Next I’ll focus on the alternator and water pump system before the exhausts.
