🫱 Our hands work hard every day. From constant washing and gardening to chilly weather and household jobs, it's no surprise they're often the first place to show signs of dryness.

That's why we believe they deserve a formula made just for them, not just a leftover dab of face cream... 😅

Our Softening Almond Hand Cream is enriched with nourishing almond oil, naturally rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, to soften dry, hardworking hands while absorbing beautifully without a greasy finish 🪴

Kiwifruit is so much more than a vitamin C boost for your skin! Its polysaccharides (the complex sugars found in the fruit's flesh), have been shown in studies to double collagen synthesis in skin cells. DOUBLE! 🤯

Collagen is what keeps skin firm and bouncy, and production naturally slows as we age. That's why we include kiwifruit extract into our Smoothing Kiwifruit Exfoliator, pairing gentle exfoliation with an ingredient that's actively supporting your skin's structure underneath.

Ever wondered what makes an exfoliator more than just a scrub? This is it... 💥

If you have comfrey growing, you have a really good liquid fertiliser just waiting to happen! 🙌

Comfrey leaves are naturally rich in nutrients, particularly potassium, along with smaller amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus. As the leaves break down in water, they create a liquid feed that's especially appreciated by flowering and fruiting plants 🪻

Simply fill a bucket with comfrey leaves, weigh them down, cover with water and pop on a lid. Leave it to steep for three to four weeks. Fair warning, it develops a very ... uh ... memorable smell 😂😅

Once it's ready, strain the liquid and dilute it at roughly 15 parts water, to 1 part comfrey tea (or until it looks like weak tea). Water it around the base of your plants every couple of weeks during the growing season.

If you don't have comfrey yet, it's worth getting some. It comes back every year and just keeps giving! 🤩

Did you know that a cream cleanser works differently to a foaming cleanser?! Rather than removing oil, it's designed to dissolve makeup, sunscreen and daily build-up while helping support your skin barrier 🫗

For the best results, apply it to a dry face with dry hands. This gives the oils in the cleanser time to break down impurities before adding water.

Massage gently for around 60 seconds, then rinse with lukewarm water. After cleansing, your skin should feel clean, soft and comfortable. Not tight or squeaky 🐭

It's mythbusting time! Can you shrink your pores?! 🤔

Short answer: no ... but here's what's actually going on! 😵‍💫

Pore size is largely genetic. No serum, steam, or cold water will permanently alter their size. What you can do is make them less noticeable.

Pores appear larger when clogged with sebum and dead skin cells, or when the surrounding skin has lost elasticity. Regular gentle cleansing keeps them clear, and ingredients like hempseed and rosehip oil help support skin elasticity over time 😁

Consistent sun protection also matters more than most people realise. UV damage is one of the biggest contributors to enlarged-looking pores, so enjoy time in the sun but make use of the shade too ☀️

The takeaway: gentle, regular cleansing and good sun habits will do more for your
pores than any product promising to shrink them.

During menopause, oestrogen levels drop, and one of the places that shows up most noticeably is the skin. It becomes drier, more reactive, more prone to redness and sensitivity 😫

Borage is one of the richest plant sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), an omega-6 fatty acid the body uses to produce anti-inflammatory compounds. When the skin is low in GLA, its barrier function weakens and redness becomes harder to manage. Restoring it topically helps calm that response and support the skin's ability to hold onto moisture 💦

We use borage oil in our MenoSupport Night Cream for this reason. It works overnight when the skin is most receptive to calm, replenish and restore.

Your skin is often the first place you'll notice something is off internally, and the gut is frequently at the root of it 🤔

When the gut lining is compromised, inflammatory signals can travel through the bloodstream and show up on the skin as redness, breakouts, or sensitivity.

So how do we support it?

It is a complex and individual process, but one of the most important starting points is feeding your beneficial bacteria well. Research suggests we need at least 30 different plant varieties per week to adequately nourish the range of bacteria living in the gut. That includes vegetables, fruits, legumes, wholegrains, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices, so it adds up more quickly than you might think 😁

Topical skincare matters, but if your skin keeps telling you something ... it may be worth listening from the inside out.
