Koha is back with another Kiri Kaitiaki kaupapa and this week we're talking about Scabies.

Scabies is more common than many people think and anyone can get it.
It doesn't mean you're dirty and it's nothing to be whakamā about.

💡 Koha's Oranga Fact:
Scabies mites are so tiny you can't usually see them with your eyes! That's why it's important to know the signs and get checked if you're feeling really itchy.

Today Koha shares simple tips to help you recognise scabies, stop it spreading and know when to seek treatment.

If your tamariki are between 2 and 19 years old, they may be eligible for a FREE assessment and treatment through the Kiri Ora Project, including treatment for eligible household members with scabies.
