💰 Thrifters next round of funding closes 4pm Friday 29th May 2026. Please call into the shop for a funding application form.

A reminder of our funding rules that are in our Trust deed:
⭐️Your organization/club/school/individual can only apply once per year and our year runs from 1st June to 31st May.
⭐️You must be able to provide quotes to correspond with the funding application.
⭐️We prefer to fund for a specific item rather than the funding go into the general 'pool' or account. For example, a new oven for hall upgrade or rugby jumpers for under 9's.
⭐️Your organisation must be within the Hauraki Plains College zone.
⭐️If you are successful with funding, you must be able to provide an official receipt for the project or item that funding was granted for. We need these for the Inland Revenue Dept and the Charities Commision so there’s no exceptions.
⭐️We do not under any circumstances fund any business or their activities.

We look forward to receiving applications!

It’s rewarding to see the range in how our grants are helping those in the community. Great to be able to give a little something to those who give their time to coaching and managing our young sports people!

💛 A little something for our amazing Primary Coaches & Managers! 💛
We’re excited to be gifting a few treats this season as a small thank-you for the time, energy and aroha you bring to our tamariki out on the field each week.
Thanks for everything you do! 👏🏉

Huge thanks to Thrifters for providing the funding to make this possible and to Four Square Ngatea for the great deal, your generosity is much appreciated! 🙌

Enjoy your new play equipment Turua School!
