💉 Flu is still circulating — and it’s not too late to get vaccinated!�

There has been a late surge in influenza cases across New Zealand, with experts warning that flu may continue circulating
into spring.�

Health NZ has confirmed that Influenza A is the most common flu strain circulating this year, and it is covered by the 2026 flu vaccine.�

While flu can be mild for some, it can also cause serious illness and hospitalisation — even in otherwise healthypeople. Vaccination helps protect you and the people around you, including vulnerable whānau, babies and older members of our community.�

If you haven’t had your flu vaccination yet, it’s not too late.�
