Here at the Hound and Harp, we love to craft delightful small gifts from rare vintage Irish coins. Our aim is simple: to create a heartfelt smile on the face of all who receive them. Every one of our beautiful coins are genuine circulated items sourced from two picturesque villages in Co. They are timeless mementos of simpler, slower days and every coin has a unique tale to tell. Passing from hand

to hand for more than fifty years, they naturally bear the signs of age - but we believe every mark and imperfection adds to their story; a story in which you may now play a role. Each lucky coin is presented in a charming vintage-style card within a hand-assembled envelope, finished with an authentic Irish postage stamp (sourced from a hoard collected in the 1940s). These are truly unique and special gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, special occasions or as Christmas stocking-fillers. (We don't believe there's any harm in treating yourself, either.) There is an old Irish blessing: Go raibh míle maith agat. It means "may you have a thousand good things". With a lucky Irish coin in hand, we trust its new owner may enjoy a thousand and one.
