Just got delivered this long awaited collection of brand new patterns and wool from Countrywide Yarns. Patterns for 4 ply, 8 ply and 10 ply knitting and the wool is just so soft in stunning very trendy colours for this winter. A mix of Alpaca, Merino and Acrylic it is super soft and light and will be oh so very, very warm. We’ll be getting some knitted up asap for our “washing line” and I can’t wait to see them up! Big news too…. After being asked so often we’ll be starting some Winter beginner knitting classes very soon. Still finalising details but if you interested in joining in a small friendly group of beginner knitters leave your details at the shop. Meantime grab your coffee and check out these new patterns and gorgeous wool.❤️😢

This week in our window we have an amazing collection of stunning embroidery from the very talented ladies of the West Taieri Embroiderer’s Guild. These clever ladies meet in Outram to stitch together and our window is simply worth a visit to ohh and ahhh over their exquisite work. They will be in the shop on Wednesday stitching if you want to pop in and chat - they’d love to see you and you might even be tempted to hang out with them too!

HUGE congrats to the lovely Aimee G from Fairfield who has won our gorgeous Luxury Mothers Day Hamper Draw today. 🤩🤩🤩 Ive just spoken to Aimee - she's way past excited and tempted to keep it for herself, but is going to surprise her Mum at a family lunch tomorrow with it. (I'm pretty sure there will be more squealing involved.....lol) 🤣🤣🤣
