Stunning jade mix pounamu. A light toned pendant, with beautiful inclusions that shimmer away as light touches it's face. Hand plaited, light brown wax cord and lashing. A very humble piece.

A lovely piece finished off today. Nelson tangiwai mix pounamu, carefully shaped into an elegant disc shaped pendant, tied off with a 3 plait wax cord.

The 'moon' like shape, alongside its splotchy crater looking inclusions really make for a stunning and unique bit of kit.

This nelson pounamu toki was completed in our workshop today. This pounamu is beautiful in more ways than one, its visually an outstanding stone but also a dream to carve. With its tight hard grain and array of stunning colours, it makes for truly desirable jewellery.

'Blue snow'
This little toki was carved from a piece of Nelson tangiwai pounamu, measuring 50x21x8mm, this one is for our elegant selection. We love this particular stone, blotched with blue snow flake like inclusions, which are seated in a beautiful black background that shimmers away in the light. A lovely piece indeed.
