In May 2019 we moved into our home on the family farm. We are privileged to live in the house that Kylie’s Grandparents built over 60 years ago.

The gardens and tennis court had been neglected from previous tenants and needed a lot of time put in to clean it up.

We are so proud to look back and be reminded of how much we have put into this place 🤍

When we took these pictures we had no idea we would be growing flowers here instead we thought we would repair the tennis court and learn how to play!

I find having an obsession with my garden projects is highly motivating for me to complete them as soon as humanly possible.

I have spent many hours and days working on getting these gardens finished and am feeling so stoked to finally having them at their full potential.

So excited to see all the armloads of flowers these beds are going to give! Do not ask how my back is going 😅

Managed to put together three more gardens today. Two on my own and then my parents showed up so had them give me a hand to finish them off 🤍

Very busy couple days on the flower farm. My back is hurting.
Four dahlia beds have been dug up and cleaned and stored. (Only five more to go!) Making room for other crops to go in. The tulip bed has been emptied ready for the bulbs. We’ve used the tractor to grab some composted soil to top up some of our gardens. The weather has been so kind!

We are super excited to have 500 ranunculus plants for the first time this year. All my seedlings are looking so good. Spring is going to be beautiful 🤍

Finally paid the price for being too impatient with my seed sowing in the beginning. Pricked out these little babies this afternoon.

Autumn seed starting has been going along so swell with great germination rates. I’ve planted out a few trays of asters, carnations, stock, statice and ammobium.

Looking forward to seeing their flowers come Spring 🤍
