Went for another ride up the Wamak today, dry in some places and wet as elsewhere, I tried some short cuts but they were a questionable choice in hindsight 😂, still lots of fun on the fat bike

Went for a ride up the Waimak to check out the flood damage, it was very wet and boggy, it was bloody hard riding, I got muddy and cold, but most of all I had a ball, it was so much fun smashing through there on the fat bike, anyway most of the track is rideable but parts won't dry out till springtime as there is still a huge amount of water in there.

It is spectacular just how much the water has changed the landscape in such a short time, all this work done and no resource consent, naughty mother nature.

I put some new Barkbuster handguards on and they earned there keep on the first ride
