We get a lot of inquiries in the shop from people looking to connect with other cyclists and we'd love to be able to point them in the right direction. If you're looking to join a group, or are in a group looking for more riders, feel free to pass along your information to us and we'll compile it into a list that we can share with others. One of the most special moments after every ride is the presentation of the Reece McDonald Memorial Trophy.

This award recognises the rider who truly lives the spirit of the Chopper Bike Ride — passion, support for others, encouragement, teamwork, kindness, and always being there to help wherever needed.

Reece was the heart and soul of this ride for many years. He introduced so many people to the event, helped riders get across the line, and always did it with a smile. He wanted every rider to enjoy the day, make memories, and feel part of something special. Reece passed away in 2024, but his spirit will forever ride with us.

This year’s recipient was 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧, proudly presented by Reece’s wife, 𝐉𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩
