We had an incredible time at the Ohiwa Oyster Festival, held at the Ohope Wharf & hosted by our whānau at Tio Oysters.⛴️🦪 A unique twist of Kaimoana, Market Stalls, Fashion, Beers & a mean lineup of Live Music.🐟🌿👢🍻🎶

The wharf was bustling with crowds packing out the venue, a beautiful setting with the Ohiwa Harbour in the background.🌊 The weather was sekii as with the sun beaming on us all day.🌅 Our Ngāti Awa whānau rolling deep, it was a choice buzz seeing our aunties & nannies performing their beautiful waiata.🎶 Hearing those melodies again warmed our hearts!!🥰 We sold 6x Custom Jackets that day!! ..the most we've sold at an event!!✅ Seeing our own people proudly wear our kākahu & the energy they bring is always humbling!! Means even more coming from our own peoples!!💎 ..super grateful, thank you fam!!🙏🏼 We met a lot of choice peoples & caught up with a few whānukz from back home.🌿 Our girl Miriz captured some cool shots of the event on her DSLR Canon!!📸🔥

The team at Tio Oysters gifted us 3x Oyster Platters(1x each), which were so creamy & fresh!!😍🦪 That was us smashing our oysters from our stall while cuzzy Maisey Rika was performing ..beautiful waiata complimenting the beautiful Kai!!🎶🦪❤️ We love our Oysters too, so that definitely elevated the experience for us!!🥰 Our whānau has some whenua across the harbour, we could see our batch from our event, our little gem of land that overlooks Ohope & Ohiwa Harbour, adding 1000+ aura for us!!😍✨ Once the beers, food & music started flowing, the wharf turned into full on party vibes!!🕺🏽💃🏽 ..It was mean as!!🔥

We booked us a cabin at the Ohope Holiday Park across the road from event.🔖 Maxed out the amenities & went straight to the Spa Baths to unwind after our big day!!♨️ Miriz had the Pool & Hydroslides!!🌊 We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves!!🥰 Much needed rest & early morning beach walk & swim with the girls.🏖️ Talia whipped us up Deep Fried Oysters(the rest of what we had from festival) and made a homemade chilli dip for parakuihi before we cruised back to the Tron!!🥷🏽⚡ This was our first market we've done back these ways & we're keen as to attend more events back in The Bay/ East Coast we can line up for our 2025-2026 calendar!!🗓️ Congrats on an amazing event team!!🎉 Thank you for having us!!🙏🏼 Can't wait to return for the next one!!🔥

We hosted another successful event with a massive turn out to celebrate our 14th Hamilton Vintage Market!!🎉 Huge thank you to everyone that come through!! A collective effort from our awesome community!!✨ We curated a fresh list of 35x Stalls, with 2x Live DJ's, our Emcee, Photographer, 10x Food Trucks, the most Food-Trucks we've had at our markets & both venue Car Parks full with consistent crowds pouring in throughout the whole day!!🔥
