I just want to say thank you to the few loyal customers that have been able to hurdle over the barriers to get to our little local florist shop.
The works outside has been on going for well over a month and continue, still unfinished over the dates that were promised.
A number of years ago I had to move my other business The Orchid Florist that was situated in town to sit alongside Simply Flowers & Events because of road works, the street was closed for a year and stopped any foot traffic being able to get in.
I was promised by the head guy of this lot of works that this would not be the case here, sadly every promise we have been given has been broken and the shop completely cut off on a number of days.
I understand the speed hump on the crossing to slow traffic down for safety but honestly disappointed that there is not an ounce of care or compensation for all of us with businesses on Musselburgh Rise.
So to those of you that have parked miles away and walked in instead of driving past, you are very much appreciated x Thank you.
