In my happy place, making kites with kids 😍
A great bunch of kids, spanning several decades in age, made kites at Birdlings Flat today. All were successful and looked fabulous. Perfect wind, a bit hot and a lot of sun. Those pretty stones get really hot!
Fantasticly organised community event, included lunch for everyone. Plans for more kite events to come.

The elves in the KiteShop have been very busy sorting out orders and wrapping up packages. Thank you to everyone who has ordered from and supported me this year.

All orders have now been delivered by NZ Post, who have done a fantastic job this year. So, I'm turning off the lights and heading home (20 paces) to pour myself a drink.

I will be tidying up the workshop over the summer break, so if you need any kites, let me know. Stock shown on the website is current. What is out of stock may be replenished about mid-January, if you want to wait.

There are notices about upcoming kite days and events around the South Island - which, I will be attending. If you're there, come and say hello.
