Bottle Lake Hills. The name alone should get your legs twitching. This one is going to be GOOD.

Bottle Lake is a shared space. Dog walkers, cyclists, horses and humans all co-exist out there. Please drive SLOWLY on the access road and respect that we’re guests in their zone. Follow the directions of our incredible marshalls.

Due to RECORD numbers in Kids Grade (we LOVE this), we’ve split the K Grade to give everyone the race day they deserve:

🕙 10:30am — C Grade
🕙 11:30am — K Grade U10 & below | 20 mins | Short course
🕙 12:00pm — K Grade U17 to over 10 | 30 mins | Full course
🕙 12:30pm — Prize Giving 🏆
🕙 1:00pm — B Grade
🕙 2:00pm — A Grade
🏆 Prize Giving after A Grade & packdown!

The kids’ field at SCCX this season has been absolutely phenomenal. The future of CX in Canterbury is BRIGHT. 🌟

When you have a 4 wheel fully enclosed recumbent, and it ned a new freewheel mechanism, we can do that too. This Velomobile Quatrevelo is a regular head turner around the town. It was a few hours work to remove and replace, fortunately clever design meant we didn't have to completely disassemble.

It's not been the best summer, so definitely check the bearings on your bike before they get like this (volume up). Riding in the rain, river crossings, over zealous use of the hose cleaning the bike can all lead to washed out bearings. Hubs, cranks, headsets, suspension bearings all need some love. We keep most common (and not so common) sizes in-stock for same day service.

Solving problems most shops are not equipped to do. A selection of what we did last week, seat posts fully stripped and rebuilt like we do every day, not just wipe and clean. Air systems in forks every service are cleaned and or seals repalced as necessary. Make a custom shock mourning bolt, and adapt a chain tensioner to make it more stable.
