I've been a bit quiet on the socials lately, but decided it was time to let you know whats on my needles and also see what's on your needles at the moment.
On the ChiaoGoo Quads at the mo I've got the stash busting Whidbey Bag (Wool & Pine, pattern available on Rav) in Knit By Numbers #123. She's an pretty easy pattern so far and I'm planning on raiding the stash for leftover tiddly bits of yarn for the colour work detail that's weaved in after the bag is complete. I'm ABSOLUTELY Loving Knit By Numbers, it lovely to handle and probably too good to make a bag out of, but here we are! Oh, can we talk about those needles! If you haven't tried them yet - they are pretty darn nice to use - not at all like I thought they would be. They definitely get my vote, easy on your hands and just the right amount of slippy-ness to make them a solid 10/10 in my books.

✈️📦 ITS HERE!! 😆🎉 it’s later than expected but, the Yarnadelic restock and new shades are here!

I really am grateful ☺️ I can work my day job from home! But on very exciting days like today it makes concentrating on computer work 💻 very hard.

WOW! What a fabulous day at Knit & Gather North Canterbury yesterday.
A heartfelt 💖 thank you to everyone who visited and supported U&KWM at our first event under new ownership, and 🌟 Extra Special 🌟 thanks to Barbara Hawker and Tamzin-Jane Verney for organising such a wonderful event.
It was an absolute delight to meet so many wonderful customers, it really was great to connect with each of you. Your enthusiasm and kind words made the event truly special. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity to share our love for all things knitting and yarn at Deep South Fibre Festival in Gore on 2 May 2026.
