✨ Studio 415 – Client Update ✨

Due to an incredibly busy schedule, I have made the difficult decision to temporarily close my books to new massage therapy clients. At the moment, I am finding it challenging to fit everyone in, and my priority is ensuring I can continue to look after my wonderful existing clients with the care and availability they deserve.

That said, I will remain open to new clients specifically for Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), as this is a specialised treatment that I currently offer exclusively in our area.

If you are a new client holding a valid Studio 415 voucher, please be assured that these will of course still be honoured — feel free to get in touch to arrange your booking.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, understanding, and loyalty — I truly appreciate every one of you and don’t take it lightly how busy Studio 415 has become 💛

The 5 Types of Lipoedema (Simple Explanation)

Type 1: Hips and Outer Thighs (Saddlebags)
Fat builds up around the hips, pelvis, and buttocks, often called saddlebags. The lower legs usually look normal, creating a noticeable difference between the upper and lower body.

Type 2: Hips to Knees
Fat extends from the buttocks down to the knees. A common sign is fatty folds on the inner knees. People may start feeling heaviness and pain, especially when standing or walking for long periods.

Type 3: Hips to Ankles (Fat “Cuff”)
Fat spreads from the hips all the way to the ankles. A clear sign is a sharp cutoff at the ankles, creating a “cuff” where fat stops before the feet.

Type 4: Arms Involved
This type affects the arms, either alone or together with leg lipedema. The arms may feel heavy, tender, and appear disproportionate compared to the upper body.

Type 5: Lower Legs Only
Fat is mainly located in the lower legs (calves), while the thighs may look normal. The calves often appear enlarged and can be painful to touch.

Some sad and disappointing news today. My studio was broken into overnight and left trashed, with a few items missing and a broken door. There’s quite a mess to clean up, so unfortunately today’s clients will need to be rescheduled. If you haven’t heard from me yet, I’ll be in touch shortly.

Fingers crossed the police will be here soon to complete their forensic work so I can get everything tidied up and ready for tomorrow.

I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the kindness and support you’ve shown me over the past few years. I’m so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you 💛 xx

I just want to say a huge thank you for your support this year — whether you came in for massages, spray tans, or simply shared kind words, it truly means the world to me.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my last couple of work days as my family and I are currently dealing with COVID. I’m so sorry to anyone who was affected and really appreciate your understanding and kindness.

Wishing you all a safe, relaxing, and joy-filled Christmas. I can’t wait to see you in the new year feeling refreshed, glowing, and ready for 2026 🎄
