With more sails on the way I’ve had a couple of days to make these fun Christmas Gift Bags. These are made from 100% cotton with a 12mm satin ribbon drawstring. The fabric is imported and not commonly seen in NZ. There are six designs and three sizes. They are sold in sets of 3, one of each size for $28 including postage in NZ.
Approximate sizes are:
Size 1 – 30cm high x 20cm wide
Size 2 – 40cm high x 22cm wide
Size 3 – 45cm high x 34cm wide

It’s been a busy few days getting these recycled sail bean bag orders out, as you can see it’s taken its toll on Ron…

Recycled Sail Kit bags -Sorry these have sold out - will post when suitable sails for making these bags come my way again:)

Fully lined in either black or navy with wrap around handles. Side zipped pocket for keys, phone, sunnies etc.
Nylon zips won‘t rust.
Measuring approx 68cm long with 33cm diameter
These sell for $100 including postage throughout NZ.
As with all recycled sails, they come complete with their own quirks and imperfections. Where possible I include markings, woollies, stripes, numbers and logos into the bag design.
These are made in Marlborough.

We have just released new designs into our Kids Swimming Back Pack range.
Including Camo, Minions, Flamingo, a fluffy poodle fur bag, plus the popular turquoise unicorn bag is back!
These bags double as backpacks using the soft comfortable drawstring straps.
Lined with waterproof fabric these bags are as good as it gets for a sewn product to being waterproof and are ideal for wet clothing, swimming gear and anywhere a change of clothing may be on the cards!

I’ve been working on these for a couple of weeks, between orders, adding to our Recycled Sail bean bag range.

Featuring a canvas top and recycled sail sides and base with seperate liner bag, these make a great extra seat, ottoman or kids bean bag.
Zips in both outer and lining bag are nylon and won’t rust.
Sold without beans, each bean bag takes 150 - 200 litres of beans/foam chips or eco beans.
These measure approx 60cm high with 55cm diameter.
Selling for $100 including postage in NZ.

It’s a bit of a Bean bag frenzy this week. the Giant sold yesterday, but I have made another all ready to go!

Today sees the appearance of the recycled sail Apex Bean Bag Lounger.
Measuring approx 1m wide x 1.5m long, this one takes 250 - 400 litres of beans or foam chip depending on your firmness preference. Note these bags are sold minus the beans.
Made from a recycled sail with seperate inner liner bag made fro waterproof Nylox 88 to contain the beans or foam chip.
This bag has navy trim, other trim options: blue, black, dark grey, light grey, red, orange and turquoise.
Made in Marlborough and selling for $180 plus postage.

Given the nature of re-cycled sail cloth, each bag will be a little different and may have stripes, sail numbers and marks from many years of sailing on ‘Midnight’.

Giant Bean Bag from a recycled yacht sail.
(thank you Midnight- a very well campaigned Davidson 45 based in Waikawa)
This bean bag measures approx 1.2m diameter x 55cm high.
(Thanks to Ron for modelling, I pulled him away from his workshop… but he can vouch for its comfort factor!)
Takes between 5-600 litres of beans.
All seams double stitched with seperate inner bag made from waterproof Nylox 88. Both zips and sliders are made from rust free nylon.
Given the nature of re-cycled sail cloth, each bag will be a little different and will likely have blemishes and marks from many years of sailing on Midnight.
Selling minus the beans this bean bag is $200.

Made from re-cycled laminated sailcloth and lined in nylon oxford with grip tabs at both zipper ends.

Rainy day needs something to brighten it up… NEW FLURO BEAN BAG POUFS FOR KIDS...!
Measuring approx 30cm high with 35cm diameter these are a perfect size for kids, foot stools and side tables.
They come with a seperate liner bag made from waterproof Nylox 88 fabric and the outer is made from 100% Nylon Oxford 420 denier (used more commonly in luggage).
Fill them with poly beans - takes approx 80 litres or foam chips.
Suitable indoor or outdoor (I would bring them inside at night as they are quite light and may blow away)
Please note the beans are not included
Made in Marlborough and selling for $57 each, postage NZ wide is $5.60.
