The early melt of ICEBERG in the late 70s can be understood, and attributed to, the
rapid rise from obscurity to verging upon national [and possibly international]
notoriety, in such a short space of time. Icebergs combination of musicianship and
creativity had won them support from their peers and public alike when playing pub
tours, festivals and TV. The band members then went on to pursue their
own personal careers musical - artistic or otherwise - but still remained lifelong
friends. The combination is back! A reunion of old friends was all that was needed to
decide, not to relive old times, but to do it better and use the experience gained in
the intervening years. The rearrangement of earlier material and new writings by the band has rejuvenated
their unique and sometimes controversial performances and has given the group a
new direction…’Up and dressed and ready to ROCK!’
