After the dye class on Auckland Anniversary weekend, I scooped out half the liquid from the individual dye vats into a large bucket so I could transport them home. I've now created a new indigo vat in the bucket.
My deck at home gets super-hot this time of year so perfect for keeping the vat at the right temperature.
Each day I use the vat I give it a good stir and feed it and leave it to settle overnight.
