My favourite mug for a morning cuppa gifted to me by a friend and made by Denby pottery which closed after 217 years making tableware. We use clay from Staffordshire and mix it with clay from Matauri Bay to make our strong slipware.

Caught up with my old mate Louise Stevenson at the Crown Lynn Museum. Had a look around and dropped off some branded cups. An historic place to reflect on NZ’s greatest pottery manufacturer and at the time the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere.
