Reminder! We will be open this Saturday Morning (2nd May) for drop offs between 9:30-12:30

We are currently short of:

- Toddler clothing sizes 2-5
- Safe sleep bassinets

We gratefully accept donations of baby, maternity and toddler items that are in good condition, not stained or stretched. No capsules, cots, used bottles pumps or feeding equipment. Please send us a message if you are unsure.

Parking changes are coming to Onehunga Mall.

After feedback from local businesses and residents, I’ve been advocating alongside the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and Onehunga Business Association for action to make parking easier. Now, Auckland Transport is rolling out a 12 month trial to address these issues.

More P60 and P120 parks are being introduced, along with no time limits on Sundays.

This will help ease pressure on local businesses and give people more time to shop, eat, and spend time in Onehunga.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on how this works, so please keep the feedback coming.

Exciting news for our local community! Greenstone TV will be in the area on Monday, 30th March to film scenes for the second season of the NZ TV series, Happiness,

To help the production run smoothly, please take note of the following scheduled activity:

Location: Onehunga Mall, between Princes St and Church St.

Filming Hours: 6:00 pm – 2:00 am.

Road Closure & Parking: A road closure and "no parking" resolution will be in effect on Onehunga Mall (between Princes St and Church St) from 7:00 pm until 2:00 am.

Technical Base: The Waller Street carpark will be used for essential technical vehicles and the unit base starting early on the 30th March.

What you need to know:

Access: Footpaths and local parks will remain open. Access and egress will be maintained at all times outside of active filming.

Back-up Dates: In case of bad weather, filming may move to the 31st March or 1st April.
