♻️ APRIL IMPACT ♻️

In April alone, Tipping Point diverted 60.88 tonnes from landfill — roughly the weight of 22 Asian elephants. 🐘

Every item dropped off, repaired, repurposed, reused or purchased helps keep valuable resources circulating within our community instead of ending up in landfill.

But the impact goes beyond diversion alone.

Some of these materials also find their way back into our community through:
💚 school projects and creative education
💚 community partnerships and local initiatives
💚 whānau support and redistribution
💚 repair and upcycling opportunities through the Nothing Wasted Shed
💚 affordable reuse options for local households

This month’s diversion included:♻️ General reuse🪵 Timber recovery🛠 Upcycling and repair👕 Textile recovery🤝 Community donations and redistribution

Thank you to everyone who shops, drops, donates, volunteers, repairs and supports the kaupapa. Together, we’re building a stronger culture of reuse, connection and community resilience across all our communities.
