Our mission is to supply quality telescopes and accessories at a reasonable price. By importing and selling direct we can keep our prices down and give you the best value on the NZ market. We specialise in telescopes that are easy to use but - you can actually do some real astronomy with them. You will get some great views of the night sky and won't outgrow your telescope in a few months. We want

you to be able to discover what is really possible with the right equipment and knowledge. If you are planning on purchasing a telescope and would just like some advice, feel free to give us a call. Astronz are in the unique position where we can invest profits into supporting Astronomy & Science in NZ. Astronz started trading in 2001 with the intention of importing & selling direct astronomical equipment into New Zealand to meet the requirements of keen astronomers. The company is fully owned by the Auckland Astronomical Society and operated by volunteers who are all also active members of the society. We are all passionate about astronomy and regularly use telescopes for observing the night sky, including the ones we sell. This means we know what we are talking about when it comes to telescopes. Astronz has supported astronomy throughout New Zealand for over 15 years and continues to invest back into the astronomical community nationwide.
