Cyclespot Wellington is on the lookout for an experienced, qualified motorcycle technician to become part of the Cyclespot Group team in our Lower Hutt store! As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of motorcycles, scooters, side by sides, and quads.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and safety checks on motorcycles, scooters, side by sides, and quads.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and prepare motorcycles for customer handover.
Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Provide technical advice and support to customers on motorcycle care when needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Motorcycle Mechanics or automotive engineering.
Proven experience as a motorcycle technician or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full motorcycle license is desirable but not essential.
WOF inspection authority desirable but not essential.
