Big updates! WE HAVE MOVED 🥳

We have moved from our Browns Bay location AND our storage yard! Definitely don’t do things in halves around here 😁

While we’re still setting up in our new location, we’re currently closed to new customers but OPEN for exisiting customers on a job by job basis 🧰🔧 flick us a message if you need us!

We’ve got 2 big builds in the process that we’ve brought with us, and we can’t wait to get these finished. Work is still happening behind the scenes here at AFP.

We had this Nissan in for a wof failure due to rust on front bottom rad support. As well as a misfire.

We diagnosed the misfire down to a coil on cylinder 4. We decided to do a set of plugs at the same time to save customer in future because inlet manifold has to come off🤦‍♂️ and they were due to be replaced when we inspected.

Took of rad support.support radiator temporarily
Ground down the surface rust to bear metal in all spots rust treated and painted.

Few weeks back went out to Hampton to test the new set up in one of our afp r&d cars.
Well was the excuse to go have some fun for those that know this car is A mix of mx5 stuff and rx7 stuff and a bit of a Frankenstein but
goes unbelievably we’ll and continues to surprise us and others.
This car was built to test a theory we had about 5 years ago and it’s just keeps getting better

Quick check over the car and to get the info for the set up we’re running so we know where to make changes.
We had some heat management issues resulting in a short day for us.
Once back at the shop we addressed these issues also changed the airflow setting in the intake and throttle body resulting in a much sharper throttle response as well as more down low power and torque..

Well I haven’t seen that one before.
Fairly late model Lexus. The rear window had come off the window sealant. You could literally push it out.

We removed the window rust treated the top of the frame (preventive maintenance). As a lot of water had been leaking.
Pencil touched up a few spots on the edge as paint was starting to flake. Once the window was back in (new sealant and seals) you wouldn’t even know saving the customer over 1k on a roof respray with this pearl white 3 stage paint.
