Current Mood Annoyed. I went to Farro Greenlane today and happened to park beside there green bin. The lid was open and amazingly all these fruit and vegetables were in there. Personally and by the photo you can tell that all these could be eaten and not thrown away. The question for Farro and there growing empire - where is your social concious? People are going hungry in Auckland and NZ. Why are you choosing to throw food away when the contents of this bin could be made into something ie soup etc or donated to food banks etc. You have to question as well your price point for fresh fruit and vegetables - maybe if you dropped your price you would eliminate your wastage. Sometimes you need to/should look around and give back/help your community. Profit is good but people matter as well!
