He had just finished exercising and returned home. I prepared a cup of tea and cookies for him. This afternoon was lovely. To my surprise, he said the cookies are delicious. Always, he is always supportive and encouraging.

Thereā€™s one phrase that I recently learned and remind myself of ā€œPrepare, but donā€™t overprepareā€

Life is full of uncertainty and unexpected twists. No matter how much I prepare, I canā€™t control everything. Iā€™ve realized is that overpreparation can lead to anxiety and cause me to lose myself in the process.

Donā€™t get me wrong, preparation is important. But what I mean is that itā€™s essential to allow for spontaneity and flexibilityā€¦
