Having a big dinner with a charcuterie board covered in various types of cheese and cured meats, followed by roasts and stews? Then you definitely need a wine to pair with it. Worry not, we recommend the 2014 Gran Reserva Vina Convivencia. This wine is strong and round on the palate, with soft acidity and a long lasting finish. Produced from vineyards in a region of rich varied history, where Romans, Visigoths, Arabs and Christians coexisted in Spain; symbolising an era of tolerance and coexistence (convivencia in Spanish), and is thus reflected in this wine through its diverse three grape variety, which will surely pair wonderfully with your feast.

Conte Ottavio Piccolomini is synonymous with Italian wines of excellent quality. The Southern Italian Primitivo is a dark-skinned grape known for producing inky, tannic and highly alcohol wines. The Primitivo di Salento is a rich and intense wine that glows a velvety ruby red with violet reflections in the glass, and is characterized by preserved dark berries. On the palate, this red wine from Apulia has a full-bodied, spicy and soft texture with aromas of prunes and blackberries. Overall, a round, beautiful and soft Primitivo, which is almost unbeatable in terms of quality in relation to the price, and pairs beautifully with beef and venison dishes.

Embrace your dark side with our Murder of Crows. This wine is characterised by the dark hues of blackcurrants and glistens in the glass like a black pearl! The Crows has a delicate soft tannin structure with concentrated flavours and aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry, chocolate, espresso and black pepper, which are all complimented by a hint of vanilla from the oak ageing. Happy Hellowine!

This wine's softness is reminiscent of a positive emotion. The emotion of a meeting between two men, Laurent Dassault and Baron Benjamin de Rothschild, both great wine lovers, as they discovered this unique terroir of Argentina. Located 120km South of Mendoza in the Andes Foothills, at an altitude of 1100m, Flechas de Los Andes bodega has 100 hectares under vine, where Malbec, the traditional grape variety in Argentina, is king. The result is "Emocion", a blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The remarkable softness of the tannins and the impressive fruit aromas will seduce you to enjoy with all kinds of meats and cheese.

Make it a great weekend with great wine! Our picnic recommendation is our new Italian wine, Puglia Appasimento Rosso. This elegant red wine is made from Montepulciano grapes that have been grown on a small family run estate situated in the southern heel of Italy, Conte Ottavio Piccolomini d'Aragona srl, a Tuscan winery with an illustrious history, linked to the homonymous and noble Sienese family from which illustrious personalities of Italian history descent. The “appassimento” uses dried grapes, producing wine that is a vivid ruby red in colour, with an intense, complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, jam and spices.
