The Scandinavian Christmas Market is held once a year in November, to promote and celebrate their countries, culture, food, crafts, design and most of all Christmas, which the Scandinavians do in such a unique and beautiful way. From small beginnings, and now in its 12th year, The Scandinavian Christmas Market has become an increasing popular and eagerly awaited event, not just for the northern E

uropean communities in Auckland, but with Kiwi’s alike….travelling from far and wide to attend. Each year stall holders are carefully selected for their variety, Scandinavian style and quality of products. Many of the items for sale are designed and handmade by the stall holders. Other products are imported especially for the upcoming festive season. This, combined with food stalls and live music at the fantastic facility which is The Danish House, makes for a thoroughly enjoyable day for the whole family and to kick start the festive season in style.
