TiGHT wishes all friends a fantastic New Year and concludes 2023 with an amazing video from Kaizers Orchestra when they took over Sentrum Scene in Oslo. We are incredibly proud to have been a part of this journey from start to finish. Let 2024 come with a bang!

From October 6th to October 21st, Fårup is hosting an event named Lysfald in the park. The park lights up from 18:30, creating a magical evening where light and sound take center stage. All rides are illuminated, and several light installations are placed around the park. TiGHT is delighted to be a part of this. Profox and lighting designer Martin Maagaard have put together a fantastic, inspiring, and fun installation consisting of over 70 meters of RGBW tape and over 380 dimmer channels is in use, distributed on our 24-channel DMX dimmer. The Norwegian band Postgirobygget, which embarked on its journey as early as 1994 under the name "The Pi**ed Off Sons," quickly gained traction with their debut album "Melis," released in '96. The album sold nearly 200,000 copies and spent a total of 70 weeks on the VG Chart. Since then, they have embarked on a summer tour each year, performing for several hundred thousand people annually. The band is often rightly dubbed Norway's summer band!

For this year's tour, lighting designer Petter Nilssen has chosen to bring along DMX NEON 16x15mm. In collaboration with System Tech Group, they have designed custom squares of varying sizes that create a dynamic backdrop, controllable either through Resolume or directly from the MA3 lighting console they have on tour. Everything is operated within a network, and Postgirobygget carries nodes in custom racks designed by System Tech Group. In total, they utilize 16 DMX universes distributed across 4 nodes.

A Baroque Flirt
Join us in the upper-class Paris. In a world filled with gossip, intrigue, and flattering yes-men, our man, Alceste, values truth and honesty above all. Paradoxically, he is head over heels in love with Célimène, an unreliable heartbreaker who is not averse to lying to get what she wants. What should Alceste do? Remain true to his principles of truth, or surrender to the prevailing social conventions?

Behind the facade, seriousness lurks
Behind every good comedy lies a greater seriousness. Although Molière won the world's favor with "The Misanthrope" as early as 1666, the questions he raises are still relevant today. How honest can one be in a world that values artificial politeness above truth? How calculated can one allow oneself to be in friendship, acquaintanceship, love, and politics? In a time when conspiracy theories and distortion of reality thrive, it may be more important than ever to shed light on lies as a weapon.

The artistic team
Johannes Holmen Dahl is known for working closely with actors and text. He is accompanied by set designer Nia Damerell and lighting designer Eivind Myren. The trio is known for their work on "A Long Day's Journey into Night" (2019) and "The Glass Menagerie" (2017), for which Johannes Holmen Dahl received the Hedda and Critics' awards. Composer Alf Lund Godbolt, who last worked on "The Ten Commandments," provides the score, and musician Peder Varkøy is among the actors on stage.

Tight LED is proud to be a supplier of specially produced 12x20mm SIDE NEON to Trøndelag Teater, using our new Injection Mold End Caps to create NEON that seamlessly blends together, allowing for the creation of homogenous circles without visible seams.

"Semper Eadem" was the motto of Queen Elizabeth I and means "eternal the same". It is no coincidence that Mimmi Tamba chose the same title for her debut album. In the development of the album, she found both comfort, inspiration and resistance in the Renaissance and in her who gradually became a soul sister, Elizabeth I. Now Det Norske Teatret takes this rich and symbolic work to the stage and creates a visual and explosive concert version with strong inspiration from the first Elizabethan era. There will be corsets, crinolines, chandeliers and brightly colored concert lights in a raw, unpolished and grunge-like concert expression.

- We have started from lived life and experience, where the scenes can take place via a physical, musical or visual language, explains choreographer and director Belinda Braza.

A pumping tribute to those who are in a constant identity battle with, for and against themselves, and a tribute to those who dare to break boundaries!

Light and set designer Torkel Skjærven choose once again TiGHT products when it came to LED strip, dimmer and power. This time the choice fell on TiGHT Tape 172W RGB+W 6000K and TiGHT Tape 96W RGBW DMX. Together with TiGHT power and 5ch TiGHT DMX Dimmer.

Regnvær at Svømmehallen Scene in Bodø

Regnvær consists of 5 guys from Bodø. The band was formed in 2015, and quickly gained attention in their hometown with their catchy hits and beautiful ballads.

With a sound that moves in the cross between pop and modern R&B, combined with honest lyrics about love, nostalgia and finding yourself, the boys in Regnvær have captured many hearts and created a solid fan base in Norway. The whole band now lives together in a collective in Trondheim. With its own studio in the living room, catchy tunes are produced consecutively and It’s impossible not to get carried away.

When they were going on tour, they didn't want to travel with a standard back drop, but found a creative expression that they could also have room for when traveling by plane. The requirement was that it should not weigh more than 23kg. Lighting designer Charles Ellingsen in SUPERLYS designed lighting fixtures shaped like raindrops. Charles says "With power, DMX dimmer, and LED Tape in RGBW from Tight we did it. Thanks again for the help!"

Experience The World's Northernmost Igloo Hotel!

The Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel was the second of its kind and is the World's Northernmost Igloo Hotel. Each year experienced artists and builders come together to build a new and unique hotel with a special theme. The Igloo Hotel has an area of 2,500 m2 and it takes 250 tonnes of ice and 7,000 m3 of snow to build it. The Ice is harvested from Sierravann, which is only a few kilometers further in to the Alta Valley from Sorrisniva, and the snow is produced by using the water from the famous Alta River located only a meters away from the hotel.

The Igloo Hotel is open from December 20th until April 7th for overnight stays and visitations.
It is possible to visit the Igloo Hotel from 12:00 until 20:00 each day.

We are really exiting about this project and TiGHT together with SUPERLYS supply a lot of Special made NEON in different sizes, colors and length's together with power supply and dimmers.

The historic Begna bridge has deservedly become a landmark at all hours💡💙
LIGHT BUREAU designed a tailor-made lighting system with respect for the historic and architectural qualities of this magnificent stone railway bridge from 1909. The light design gently highlight the stonewall and the arches, while the sides of the bridge have been dimly lit from top to bottom with a warm white light. All linear luminaires are hidden and placed in customized profiles that reduce visibility and reflection in the water. Light Bureau have also added a colorful option with a changing colour palette and dynamic scenarios for special occasions.

Look at that! When Drammen Theatre needed to upgrade their blue light system they went for Tight Backstage! The new blue light system with White light included! Controllable with DMX of course. Thanx for the trust!

What a great Opera! "Den Flyvende Hollender" played at Fredrikstad Festning in June was a great experience! TiGHT was a proud supplier of LED tape, power and dimmers and we send a HUGE Thank You to Konsertsystemer LLB who chose us as their LED supplier. We already looking forward to next year!

In late 2019 Kollision won the competition to develop an interactive visitors' centre about the Danish healthcare system for Healthcare DENMARK. The visitors' centre, Nation of Health, aims at promoting Danish healthcare solutions and life science to international delegations. Healthcare DENMARK is the international gateway to Danish healthcare and life science expertise and innovation. They organize delegation visitor programs for foreign decision-makers and press delegations with an exclusive opportunity to experience innovative Danish solutions in practice.
