Field trip! 📽️

Jeg har vært så heldig å få en sniktitt bak kulissene på norges eneste teppeveveri, som ligger et lite steinkast fra oss, lokalt i Stavanger. har drevet veveri i flere generasjoner, og produserer tepper i norsk ull. Fjerdegenerasjon Thomas bruker stoffer fra IndigoIndigo når han syr ulljakker til butikken 🙌🏻 Det var utrolig kjekt å få se og prøve jakkene som har japansk kordfløyel fra oss på kragen 👏🏻 og minst like kjekt å få omvisning i veveriet og kaffeslabberas med hele tre generasjoner — For en hyggelig gjeng og inspirerende dag! 🙏🏻

Det er mulig jeg knabbet med meg noe stoff og at det blir en fortsettelse følger på dette samarbeidet 👀

Workshop Jacket hacked to the extreme! ⚒️

I got a restock of the organic cotton teddy fabric, about the same time as I saw a very nice looking teddy fleece jacket on this app. I’ve been meaning to make a reversable teddy jacket forever and it felt like the right time, so it had to happen. So I threw all my obligations aside and went all out for two days to make this dream jacket 🥹

I used the pattern as a base as it has the perfect boxy fit. I cut it as a size 2 (my regular), but removed about 10 cm of length at the front and 8 at the back, curving it sligthly. I also rounded the edges at the front, and did some pocket magic ✨

I repeated the pattern for the poplin fabric and sewed each jacket separately before binding them together in the end with elastic tape, making the jacket fully reversable. The teddy got a single chest pocket, elbow patches (to make the arms more smooth to get on and off with the teddy as the lining layer), and snap buttons. For the poplin layer I added two patch pockets with flaps and button loops for closeure, as well as a hang loop at the back.

I LOVE this jacket, especially paired with the ❤️‍🔥

New dry waxed cottons online! ✨

These fabrics are old favourites of mine and I’m so happy to have them back in my studio! Tried and tested for multiple projects all the way back to one of my first clothing collections. The jacket pictured is from .project AW19, an iteration of the in waxed cotton ripstop, which was called the Harbour Jacket. (Who knows, maybe I’ll make a pattern for this one as well at some point 👀). All photos are by 💖

The tote bag was also an Aoi project 🤓 Made from dry waxed cotton in khaki, with h**p webbing and internal zip pocket and snap closeure. This one had many iterations too, and there might be a more advanced version in pattern format coming your way 📐

My latest wax cotton project is probably my fav! The chocolate brown is just perfect 🤎

The Workshop vest hack breakdown ✂️

Inspo was mainly Engeneered Garments, with a dash of Barbour. I love the tie details, but I don’t love completely copying my heroes, so decided not to include those 🙃

Last make of the year for me! 💫
— PJ set in Japanese linen/cotton gingham using with a collar hack and the in view B

I made this set the week after the Workshop Jacket launch, before a mini getaway to this amazing cabin for a little reset 💆🏼‍♀️ And I’ve been wearing it for the entire holidays!

The trousers are slightly modified by swapping one of the drawstrings with a narrow elastic for added sleep comfort. You could easily do both narrow elastic and the double drawstring if you wanted by simply inserting an elastic through the middle channel of the waistband ✌🏻

I also did a cuffed hem for both trouser and sleeves with an added ribbon detail, love how that turned out! The peter pan collar makes the Void look extra pajama’y 🧚🏻

The Workshop Jacket is designed to last. It’s not only a timeless classic, inspired by Le Blau de Travail, the vintage worker jacket. The pattern calls for heavy duty workwear fabric, flat felled seams and top stitching throughout — and if you’re extra hardcore you’ll go triple ✊🏻

The Workshop Jacket is our interpretation of the classic work jacket – inspired by vintage French blue-collar workwear, le Bleu de Travail. It’s designed for medium to heavy workwear fabrics such as canvas, corduroy, selvedge denim, twill and ripstop, and is finished with flat felled seams and topstitching throughout. A jacket made to last 🗜️

It’s a unisex fit based on a mens block, comes in 10 sizes up to a 5XL, and can easily be lengthened or shortened.
