Welcome to the team, Thor Egil Øvrebotten! ⚓️

We are delighted to welcome Thor Egil to the management team at MedTug Norway. Thor Egil brings valuable experience to the team, with more than a decade of maritime experience and background as Captain on various vessel types. Thor has worked as an Operations Manager for the past few years, and will take on the role as Crew Manager for MedTug Norway, ensuring our tugs are manned with the right people and recruiting new talent to the group.

Our fleet is going digital 🌊
Two of our tugboats, Stadt Florø and Stadt Kinn, have just been equipped with high-speed internet via Starlink.

Why this matters:
🔸 Crews can now stay better connected with family and friends even when far offshore.
🔸 Enhanced access to live weather, safety updates and digital platforms.
