Hey all, I am putting on a soup making workshop at the WRT this Sunday from 11 to 2 pm where I will be sharing my soupy secrets and making my 3 favourite soups of all time. The Mexican Red Lentil, the Thai Yellow Curry coconut and the Chickpea, root veg creamy Indian. We will chop, simmer and stir and then sit down to lunch with the best bread in Tamaki Makaurau. We just put up our closed sign on this FB page but never fear, we shall be back albeit in a slightly different form. Never say never when it's a brioche! Last day at the Bakery pop up! We have 2 brioches, veggie pizzas, spelt scones and a pav! But mostly looking forward to the Sushi Made Simple workshop! I will be in and out, gathering goodies! Whoops, time is marching, better get that catering unit to The Barbershop & Co!

Second to last day at The Barbershop & co for now anyway. We have a vegan crumble with blackberry and apple, spelt date and orange zest scones, an experimental version of ANZACS made with coconut flour - crumbly but good! Brioche of course for Vanessa! And Lucy has made some dark choco cupcakes with choc frosting...

It's been 3 months since we started making our cakes for The Barbershop & Co customers. Loads of spelt scones, fudge cakes, brioches, pesto pizzas later, we are taking a June break to refresh, re-evaluate and do some recipe development. This will be our last week for a month and we are celebrating by bringing you one of our favourite cooks Emi who will teach you how to make Sushi Simple at her workshop on Saturday upstairs at The Barbershop & Co. There are still a few places left so please let us know asap if you would like to join us! Or pop in on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday! Think we'll make a cake to celebrate!
