A classic 1977 P-Funk gem!
3. Hole – Pretty on the Inside (1991)
The debut studio album by Courtney Love’s punk band, produced by Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Gumball’s Don Fleming.
4. Boredoms – Soul Discharge (1989)
Japanese Noise Rock / Dadaist Punk, named one of the best albums of the 1980s by Pitchfork. FFO: Mr. Bungle, Melt-Banana, Nurse with Wound.
5. Dr. John – Gris-Gris (1968)
One of those albums… a New Orleans rhythm & blues cult classic that blends psychedelic rock, funk, and voodoo-inspired sounds.
6. Dead Moon – Stranded in the Mystery Zone (1991)
Uncompromising Garage Rock. FFO: Wipers, The Stooges.
7. Meat Puppets – Up on the Sun (1985)
The third album from one of the more notable bands on the LA punk label SST Records. FFO: Minutemen, Hüsker Dü, Dinosaur Jr., and Osees.
8. Sonny Rollins – Worktime (1956)
A Hard Bop powerhouse from 1956, released via Prestige!
9. Diamanda Galás – Vena Cava (1993)
A live recording by the avant-garde icon, who will be celebrated at Rewire Festival next spring!

Experimental Avant-Rock by Fred Frith (Henry Cow), with contributions from John Zorn and Christian Marclay.
