Labor is becoming the biggest challenge in asparagus production.
Costs are rising. Skilled workers are harder to find.
But the harvest still needs to happen every day during the season.
That is why more growers are switching to mechanized asparagus harvesting with the Chris (white asparagus) and Christian (green asparagus) machines.

Last week we attended the trade fair in Berlin surrounded by snow and true winter conditions.
