~Invergordon 1974~

Especially for single-grain whisky: the longer it is aged, the more flavorful it becomes. In that regard, we are certainly on the right track with this Invergordon bottling from The Whisky Blues. It matured for 51 years in a bourbon cask!

A special 200th anniversary release from Edradour!

This 22-year-old single malt was matured in Amarone casks and bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.5%.

At the young Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, everything is done in-house — from mashing to bottling. Taigh is bottled in their house style (stoidhle taighe), giving a clear impression of what Torabhaig stands for.

This single malt matured in bourbon and Madeira casks, bringing together gentle sweetness and a coastal, smoky character.

A new Benromach, bottled exclusively for Whiskybase.

Distilled in January 2008 and matured for 18 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. Bottled at cask strength (59.1%), with an outturn of 229 bottles.

This is Benromach in its pure form. The first-fill bourbon barrel reveals so many of our favorite distillery characteristics, such as rich, sweet smoke and waxy, chewy fruit candies. There’s a lot to like here!
