It has been a while since you lot last heard from us so please allow me to explain.
We have been incredibly busy with developing new products aimed at fire spinners. So here are some photo's to get you excited!

Let's get the public involved on this.

Every month I will attempt a project or a new skill, I'll be sure to take plenty of photos, share any sketches I make and do a write-up of how things went.

Now, here is where I will need all of you. Send in your ideas of what I should make, try or perfect. Currently there are some restraints. All projects or skills should be managable with a budget of around €100,- and two days or 24hours of work.

Comment your suggestions below. If I need a certain tool that I might be able to build myself I might make it as a project of it's own to build towards the next idea.

A nice rhyme which I feel has a good message to it. Even if you are not a pro at something, don't be afraid to try it anyway. There are always ways to fix mistakes. Besides. Stuff has to do what it's made for. Something that needs to be pretty needs to be pretty, something that needs to be strong needs to be strong. As long as you achieve your goal, how important is the way you got there?

We had another amazing weekend at the Dutch Comic Con together with the lads of Toy Soldiers Unite. We even sold out of our handmade steel roses! Please feel free to browse through these photo's and tag the people you know. One thing that was learned this weekend is to bring a proper camera and not to rely on your phone!

It is high time that I gained another Skill and welding was high up on the menu. As was 3D design, that's why I started up sketchup, as I had been told that it is so easy to use.

It was true, you can follow my design process in here. It took me about two hours from the first tutorial to this cart.
Some parts have been simplified and some may be added to make the cart suit my needs slightly better.

This here Ringmonkey needed a quick break from the tiny little rings. So he decided he'd try to melt down some brass, just to see if it could be done in a VERY crude furnace. so behold, two 600 gram brass ingots waiting for a mold.

A quick project to see if I can make an affordable and sturdy pair of fire swords.

Note: No trees where harmed to make this project! instead I used a branch that fell down just as I was talking about making some fire swords..

We are looking to expand our product line from just chainmaille and one thing we have in abundance are 7.62*39 casings, which are made from copper plated steel (so soldering and welding them are completely valid options) what would you like to see in our shop?

The person who suggests the idea that we like best (and will be the first to be executed) will get the first successful prototype for free! (As long as it fits inside a padded envelope)

Dutch Comic Con was quite an experience, with different results for different people. We where once again sharing a booth with Toy Soldiers Unite which always leads to all kinds of shenanigans. We had our roses out for the first time and we got some great feedback. There is also a plot started to get a few roses out to different artists to see what's possible with different styles of painters. (if you are an artist who would like to make something with a metal flower, feel free to reach out and get in touch) but for now this is all that I can share on this.
Aside from shenanigans and flowers we of course had chainmaille and we even had some lovely art made by the wonderful Sophie from Germany. (http://tinyurl.com/ltSophie to watch her art)
