It's here and it's gorgeous!
It is zo shiny the shade of grey is hard to capture, this picture comes closest to the actual shade.

Allrighty! A big box of this gorgeous yarn is on its way to me as we speak :-D. I will post pictures of the undyed yarn as soon as it gets here.

Working name for now is "Fairy Hair" as it is mythically fine and shiny. I am open to suggestions if you have a better one.

Composition of this yarn is 40% merino (17,5 micron so very soft), 35% Japanese Kiko silk and 25% cashmere.
Recommended needle size: 1,5 - 1.75 mm
3.500 metres per 100 gram hank.
Price: 42,50 euros each.

I have been playing around with some hanks of Perlace and a bit of dye, inspired by spring sprouts exploding around me.
As I live in the heart of "Flower bulb country" the verges and the fields are starting to burst with colours. Bluebells, crocuses and daffodils galore!
And a bit of duckling yellow as a mother duck decided to build her nest at the back of our garden :-D

On the first day of March it looks like spring has finally arrived!
I was so happy to go outside this morning without either getting rained on or just being plain cold and make some nice pictures of this lovely scarf by Kibildis Handknits

This yarn refuses to be dyed 100% solid (trust me, I have tried everything to convince it to go solid but no go).
So if you like your yarn a bit "wild" like I do this is the yarn for you.
It has a lovely pearly lustre to it and thanks to the tight spin and ply it knits up really easily!

The Spring cleaning continues:
Found a hank of Twinkle in blue and another one in deep purple. Normal price is 37.95, clearance price is 19.95!
Also I found three more miles of 1-mile merino. One fades from grey to yellow, the others from forest green to autumn-leave-yellow.
These can be snatched up for only 17,50 euros.

Twinkle: 99% merino, 1% mini sequins, 1.500 metres per 100 gram hank.
1-mile merino: 100% merino, 1.600 metres per 100 gram hank.

Found a couple of miles of 1-mile merino that are looking for a new home! These are dyed to fade from one shade to another. The pale green fades to white, so is the pink.
"Surf's up" fades from teal to chartreuse. There's two of each shade available.
Regular price is 37,95 euros per 100 gram hank, spring cleaning price is only 17,50 each!

100% supersoft merino, 1600 metres (= 1 mile) per 100 grams.

There should be a couple more, I will post them as soon as I have found them :-D

First of all, I would like to wish all my customers and followers all things good for 2026!
A year ago my new webshop went live and many of you have found your way to it. Thank you so much for your custom and confidence in me.

I was right: Snuggle is perfect for fingerless mittens!
It only took 20 grams to knit these on 2,25 mm needles so you can make two pairs with just one 50 gram hank. I wear these all the time, ideal when driving (and the steering wheel is cold) or working on the computer (cold desk).
Play around with the colour selector in the webshop to choose your personal favourite shade!
