๐จ BREAKING: Campagnolo has just launched a new group that could shake up the high-end road bike market without the Super Record price tag.
The new Campagnolo Record 13 is built on the same 13-speed electronic platform as Super Record, meaning identical shifting architecture, wireless system, batteries and full ecosystem integration. On paper, performance stays very close, including shifting speed and overall system behavior.
The big difference is in the materials and manufacturing choices. Titanium becomes steel, ceramic bearings are replaced with stainless steel, and more forged parts replace expensive machining. The result is a weight increase of around 208 to 348 grams, depending on setup, but a major drop in cost.
Record 13 also expands into road, all-road and gravel with five configurations, including 1x and 2x options, plus a Nano Clutch version for better chain stability off-road.
Autonomy remains up to 750 km, and it keeps full compatibility with the MyCampy app and ANT+ devices. Even a crank-based power meter is available, although with slightly lower accuracy than Super Record.
The real headline is price: starting at 2,699 euros, it sits more than 1,600 euros below Super Record, positioning itself directly against Shimano Ultegra Di2 and SRAM Force AXS. A clear strategic move to bring Campagnolo performance to a wider audience.
This could be the most important shift in Campagnoloโs modern strategy.
