About last weekend….☺️

The atmosphere at events like the XIV Polish Fly Tying Competition is something special, and it really shows when you mention how welcoming everyone was.

That’s often what makes these trips memorable beyond just the competition itself.

Hans giving a presentation on sea trout and those talks can really inspire people, especially when they come from real experience on the water. Tying a pike fly live on stage? Not exactly something you casually do without a bit of pressure 😄

Also joined the single-hand casting competition and ended up 3rd 🥉😅
Feels pretty good with this level of competition!

Just one of those weekends where everything just clicks: good people, shared passion and shared knowledge.

First time out with the fly rod for Jeroen 🤩

We had a few hours to go over the basics—casting, stripping, and hooking fish.

Safe to say, we’ve got a natural-born fly fisher on our hands!
