Sometimes you come across a piece that leaves you absolutely speechless. I have sourced and handled many incredible antique school models over the years, but I can honestly say this is the most beautiful example I have ever had in my possession.
This is an authentic, antique plaster school model of a Pinzgau bull (“Taur Pinzgau”). Measuring an impressive 60 cm in length, these detailed anatomical models were originally used as educational tools in Romanian classrooms. Dating back to the early 20th century, it has survived decades largely untouched, developing the most breathtaking, raw patina over time.
The sheer character, the texture, and the history this piece breathes are simply unmatched. A true statement piece with a beautifully weathered soul.
