Budgie - Budgie

Opeth - In Cauda Venenum

Opeth have been long now switched or shifted is the right word in a new style. This is not stated as bad or good it's just a fact. They have increased the "progessiveness", but not more than that. Yes, they don't have brutal vocals anymore, but there were always present for a reason and if you listen to the albums they have produced since, brutal vocals wouldn't add anything. This is their 13th studio album and is really good and it comes with a surprise. It's bilingual! You can find it in Swedish (original) and English

Now listening to "In Cauda Venenum" and comparing it with "Sorceress" you can notice an increase in intensity in every aspect. It has more melodic parts, more progressive parts and more solos and with its fair share of heaviness, but it seems that "Sorceress", could sound a little bit heavier overall. If you're like me and language is not as important to you, you'll find both versions really cool and you might want both. They have also produced amazing artwork! It's literally a collector's delight. I don't want to go into describing what you can see, since it would be really cool to find it out by yourself.

Blue Oyster Cult - Blue Oyster Cult

This is the first album of Blue Oyster Cult. Starting from the artwork you are heading into a strange futuristic world. If you listen to a lot of 60s and 80s and you look at the release date of this album 1972, it feels way closer to 80s than 70s.

What I find really appealing in this album are the vocal harmonies, the great riffs, the melodies and the overall production....

Led Zeppelin I - From Blues to Hard Rock

Led Zeppelin is considered as one of the most influential bands of Rock music regardless of how widely you define this genre of music. Despite their sound is not particularly hard rock or heavy metal heavy, their music was incorporating elements that they definitely opened up the rock genre to these directions.
