Last weekend, we attended the demo day of our partner AST Vriezenveen: a great opportunity to demonstrate TRALERT® lighting to the customers of this Twente-based expert in automotive electronics, accessories and technical solutions.

TRALERT® has enjoyed a strong and long-standing partnership with AST Vriezenveen, with AST installing complete TRALERT® lighting packages on commercial vehicles and other applications.

Last Saturday, AST organised its annual demo day: a festive event where AST partners showcased their product ranges to visitors.

In addition to our display setup, we were pleased to welcome a unique Dodge RAM to the stand. This vehicle was recently equipped by AST Vriezenveen with a complete TRALERT® lighting package, including LED driving lights, flashers and a warning lightbar.

On the left, there is the VC-5800 Series: a robust dark-look rear light, with a slightly more classic colour finish.

From front to rear, this MAN TGX 18.520 has been equipped with a complete TRALERT® truck lighting package by our partner AUTOCAM, with a clear focus on safety and ease of operation.

At the front, the vehicle features Nemesis Series LED bars, complemented by white marker lights. Along the sides, the Apex Series work lamps stand out, together with the MB-1000 Series marker poles. At the rear, these also help to clearly define the vehicle’s position.

The result is a complete lighting package that delivers excellent visibility across all working areas, from early morning through to late evening.

Following a strong first Dakar Rally in the truck category, Leeuw Rallysport and TRALERT® are officially continuing their partnership. Today, Marnix Leeuw and TRALERT® signed a three-year agreement at the TRALERT® Experience Centre.

A natural next step after an impressive debut, in which the enthusiastic Marnix drove his Iveco Powerstar truck straight into the top 10.

Over the coming years, TRALERT® will continue to support the team. For example with “Dakar-proof” LED vehicle lighting developed for conditions where visibility, reliability and safety make the difference. From dust and heat to night-time stages, rally sport demands lighting that performs when it matters.

Leeuw Rallysport, led by the ambitious Marnix Leeuw, achieved an impressive fourth place overall at the 2026 Morocco Desert Challenge: a strong result as the team continues its journey towards Dakar 2027.

As lighting partner, TRALERT® equipped the truck with a complete lighting package to support visibility and performance in the demanding conditions of desert rallying, long after sunset.

With a clear ambition to fight for podium finishes and ultimately challenge for Dakar success, the event proved to be a valuable learning experience for the team. Their progress was particularly visible in the second half of the rally, where Leeuw Rallysport delivered several podium-level performances in a highly competitive field.
