As a proud family business, we have been growing high-quality roses since 1975. Since 1981, we have been based in Delfgauw, where our two gardens cover a total of 160,000 m². Here, we cultivate 10 beautiful varieties, including several exclusive varieities. In 2004, we

opened a nursery in Naivasha, Kenya, spanning 55 hectares, growing roses that are exported to the Netherlands.

At Berg Roses, we keep innovating and are always looking for new and exciting spray rose varieties for our assortment.

Recently, we visited Interplant and explored their showcase greenhouse in search of promising new varieties. We selected several new colours that will soon be tested in our own greenhouse.

Momenteel worden de leidingen voor de aansluiting op het warmtenet van Ammerlaan The Green Innovator B.V. ondergronds aangebracht. Een mooie mijlpaal op weg naar een duurzamere toekomst!

Samen met zeven andere bedrijven in de omgeving sluiten wij aan op het warmtenet van Ammerlaan The Green Innovator. Via dit netwerk maken we straks gebruik van duurzame aardwarmte (geothermal energy), een innovatieve energiebron die diep uit de aarde wordt gewonnen en bijdraagt aan de
vermindering van CO₂-uitstoot.

Met deze uitbreiding zetten we gezamenlijk een belangrijke stap richting een energiezuinigere en toekomstbestendige bedrijfsomgeving. Door gebruik te maken van aardwarmte dragen we actief bij aan de energietransitie en een duurzamere regio.

Naar verwachting wordt de aansluiting in het vierde kwartaal in gebruik genomen. We kijken ernaar uit om samen met onze buren de kracht van aardwarmte te benutten en verder te bouwen aan een groenere toekomst. 🌍♻️

Work is currently underway to install the underground pipelines for our connection to the Ammerlaan The Green Innovator heating network. An exciting milestone on the road to a more sustainable future!

Together with seven other companies in the area, we are connecting to the Ammerlaan The Green Innovator heating network. Through this network, we will soon benefit from sustainable geothermal energy, an innovative renewable energy source that harnesses heat from deep within the earth and helps reduce CO₂ emissions.

This expansion marks an important step towards a more energy-efficient and future-proof business environment. By utilizing geothermal energy, we are actively contributing to the energy transition and a more sustainable region.

The connection is expected to become operational in the fourth quarter of this year. We look forward to joining our neighboring businesses in harnessing the power of geothermal energy and continuing to build a greener future together. 🌍♻️
