So, been very, very quiet this last year! So sorry about that but this year has been an interesting year. I was in and out of hospital at the start, been in intensive care and well, still getting my body on track. Because of this I've been very tired and so only starting making things slowly these last few months. Please bare with me as I slowly get my mojo back and start posting again in 2023. I have made 4 things this year which I will post but the photos are not my best 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Well today's the day. I've come along way since I started with this origional page. I've tried alot of mediums over the years. Felting is still my passion - it's embarrassing to see my original work 🙈 but shows how far I have come in developing styles and scale. I definitely prefer working in miniature lol. Since my fall though felting is hard in my shoulder so have taught myself crochet and work in polymerclay....keep an eye on my new page to see how I develop further and maybe to look back on my early creations 😁

Crochet honey bee, from the fabulous Lalylala, showing the life cycle of the fabulous honey bee.

You have the honeycomb with the egg inside, the lava emerges from the egg in its little yellow cap and pale body and changes into a honey bee by slipping on its stripped jumper and then off it buzzes to collect more honey for its hive. Fantastic educational toy for all. Crocheted on a 2mm hook with cotton yarn. Enjoy

Out and about in Dwingeldveld National Park I came across a very perculiar bee! I follwed it as it buzzed from flower to flower when it finally led me to a very special spot

Wow! Where did that time go? What an amazing holiday. Stayed in a nature house just outside RuinerWold. Every morning I watched the storks in the field. Every evening I sat by the Lilly pond and watched the frogs on the lilly pads singing away, the fish swimming lazily through the water. Jeremy Fisher lives 💖.

Can safely say the lilly pond was my favourite place to be

So, Friday I'm off on holiday to Drenthe. Whoop whoop. My bags are packed and ready to go. Decision time though....what brooch to wear to give my outfits a summery feel (just in case the sun disappears). Poppy, Snowdrop, Rose or Forget-me-knot?

Can't wait to get inspired with the beautiful surroundings. You never know what I might see...may be wolves, maybe unicorns 🦄

Now that the sun has finally appeared, I thought i would jazz up my outfit with a pair of Sakura Cherry blossom earrings.

I haven't worn earrings for a while (possibly almost a decade!!) and I am pleased to report they were super light and comfy. In fact I forgot I had them in!
