In the fall of 2013, two Finnish women living in the Amsterdam region sat down together and shared their ideas about a concept for a Finnish store. We offer a contemporary selection of Finnish design and foods, including home tableware and gifts, glassware and décor, rubber shoes and boots, leather bags and accessories, organic cosmetics, children’s clothes, books, chocolates, delicacies and other

treats. In the coffee corner you can sample on traditional Karelia pies, smoked salmon sandwiches and cinnamon rolls, served with some excellent coffee, tea or Jaffa, the authentic Finnish orange soft drink. Our space also performs as platform for cultural and promotional events, and provides information for travellers to Finland. A Piece Of Finland has something to offer for every design-lover, culinary enthusiast and Finnophiliac. We welcome you with open arms at our shop & café at Haarlemmerdijk, Amsterdam!
