Taking a line for a talk. So yeah – we’re currently working on a new graphic language for the Rice School of Architecture in Houston, TX (in short, a language that revolves around sketching, drawing, patterns, moirés, and structures: from dot to line, from line to constellation, from constellation to motif – and back again). There’s still a lot we have to design (including the signage, website, magazine, etc.) – but for now, we can already share these very first, early items: an A1-sized poster and an A5-sized card, both announcing the upcoming lecture program at Rice Architecture (see pictures 1–10):

The A1-sized poster was screenprinted by Wyber Zeefdruk, and comes in two variations – a transparent version printed on tracing (‘calque’) paper, and an opaque version printed on blue-back paper. The A5-sized card (double-sided) was offset-printed by Raddraaier SSP, and comes with a perforation down the middle (to tear it into two A6-sized postcards). More pieces (including pamphlets, animations, tote-bags, T-shirts and button badges) are coming soon, so stay tuned for that. And while we’re at it – have a great weekend, everybody!
