Rennersistas – Waiting for Tom Weiss 2023
Chardonnay, Weissburgunder
Austria, Burgenland, Gols

Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s existential masterpiece Waiting for Godot, this bottle is a tribute to the profound art of waiting, with a nod to two old friends both called Tom.

A masterful blend of Chardonnay and Weissburgunder, the wine spends 21 months waiting on its lees in big, old Austrian oak casks.

In the glass, it pours a beautiful straw yellow with a green sheen, slightly hazy just to let you know at first sight where it’s coming from.
Vibrant ripe pear and bright citrus fruit.
Delicate white flowers, warm brioche, and toasted hazelnut.
A faintly creamy texture with an elegant, lingering finish of salted almonds and crushed stone.

It is highly finessed and mineral-driven, kept perfectly in balance by a refreshing, precise spine of acidity.

Myrsini – Fotinos 2024
Monemvasia
Greece, Paros

On the windswept island of Paros, nestled in the heart of the Cyclades, Nicolas and
Marie-Astrid Bourget have found their calling. They deeply embraced the island's ancient viticultural heritage, establishing Domaine Myrsini to craft wines that are a pure, respectful expression of the Aegean.

Fotinos, meaning "luminous" in Greek, is their radiant ode to the island’s signature white
grape, Monemvasia.
While Monemvasia was historically famous for the medieval wines exported from the fortress port of Monemvasia, this unique grape now finds its home, and is almost solely cultivated, on the island of Paros.

Visually, the wine is striking, pouring a deep gold with copper reflections.
On the nose, aromas of lemon peel and mandarin mingle with the fleshy appeal of apricot and quince.
But the true soul of the wine lies in its savory edge, with notes of wild fennel, crushed thyme, and hay that transport you straight to the Mediterranean coast.
On the palate, while the acidity is low and gentle, the wine is far from flabby.
It is driven by a salty, mineral backbone and a medium body that coats the mouth.
Flavors of pear and chamomile tea unfold, leading to a dry, herbaceous finish that is clean and composed.

Papras – Oreads 2024
Black Muscat of Tyrnavos
Greece

On the southern foothills of Mount Olympus, where Dionysus’s wild gift flourishes and Oreads - mountain nymphs scatter the morning dew, the Papras family has been farming organically since the early ’90s.

Papras – Oreads 2024 is made from Black Muscat of Tyrnavos, fermented dry and left unfiltered.
Visually, this wine is a showstopper, glowing pale ruby with a halo of Olympian sunset pink.
Swirl it and a flamboyant spray burst forth – jasmine, orange blossom and wild rose petals, the unmistakable signature of Black Muscat.

On the palate it is bright and cheerful.
Wild strawberries, raspberries and tart pomegranate mingle under brisk mid-level acidity.

Just when you think it cannot get more fun, a sly pinch of black pepper and Mediterranean herb lifts the finish, adding extra spring to each sip.
Despite its carnival of aromas, the wine remains refreshing and effortlessly drinkable.
A joyful bottle made for easy evenings, shared plates and zero pretense.

Domaine Muller-Koeberlé “4L” — A Joyride Through Alsace
The Squirrel from Mobylette has a new ride - Renault 4L.
And this time, it’s going the distance and for speed.

Made from the Magnificent Alsatian Seven (Pinot Noir, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois), 4L skips maceration in favor of whole-bunch direct press.
The result is a luminous, white wine bursting with apple, pear, and citrus zest, lifted by rose and lychee from Gewurztraminer and Muscat.
Riesling from granite soils bring minerality and tension, while Pinot Gris adds fine frame to all.

Where Mobylette explored texture and grip, 4L is all about precision and flow—a natural wine stripped to naked.

Serve at 8–10°C, with raw seafood, a fennel salad, or on its own as a spirited aperitif.
This is Alsace in its most honest, delicious, and energetic form: a joyride worth taking again and again.

Bikicki – Sfera Orange 2024
Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer
Serbia, Fruška Gora, Banoštor

A blend of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Traminer, this wine undergoes a 10-day semi-carbonic maceration, followed by nine months of aging in seasoned oak barrels.

The result fully reflects its authentic origins on the 45th parallel north, sharing the sun-drenched latitude of Bordeaux, Piedmont, the Rhône Valley, and Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Glowing in deep amber and copper hues, Sfera Orange wears its skin-contact character with confidence and grace.

On the nose, bright, expressive aromas open with mandarin zest, tangerine, juicy pear, and sun-ripened peach, leading to a whisper of tropical mango.

Barrel aging contributes depth with subtle warmth of cinnamon, a hint of black pepper, and an elusive, resinous note that lingers like incense.

Silky and composed on the palate, the wine’s gentle acidity offers lift without tension, while delicate tannins provide a velvety structure. Fruit glides across the tongue with poise, framed by spice and herbal nuances.

The finish is clean and persistent, carried by the aromatic charm of Traminer and a quiet echo of sunlit fruit and spice.

Ottenbreit – Unleashed 2024
Grauburgunder
Obernbreit, Franken, Germany

Crafted by Christian Ottenbreit, Unleashed 2024 is a vibrant, skin-contact Grauburgunder that brilliantly showcases the potential of Germany’s Franken region.

Ottenbreit’s skillful use of extended maceration and subtle oak aging gives the wine remarkable structure and depth. The local terroir, defined by fossil-rich Muschelkalk limestone, imparts a distinct minerality and its signature character.

While the chart-topping 2023 vintage is long sold out, the 2024 vintage tells a unique story of resilience.
A severe late-April frost drastically reduced yields, but the surviving grapes show exceptional quality. The result is a vintage of great elegance and purity, characterized by its vibrant freshness and moderate alcohol.

The wine presents an intense, deep copper-pink hue from its skin-contact vinification.
Its "unleashed" bouquet offers a captivating interplay of rich floral notes, bright citrus, ripe peach, rosehip, and a crush of fresh raspberries, all layered with a sprinkle of white pepper and cinnamon.
The palate is dry and textured with delicate tannins and refreshing acidity. A primary sensation of vibrant cranberry and cherry fruit leads to a sophisticated, smoky vanilla and resinous underlayer from the oak.
The wine culminates in a remarkably long, crystal-clear finish of ripe red apples.
This wine is a siren call to those who love the textural depth of macerated Pinot Gris, a captivating, pleasurable experience, perfectly encapsulating Christian's signature style.
