Magic Galaxies was set up in 1995. We specialize in Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Film/TV (tie-ins and reference), Wicca, Role Playing G

ame, S/F and Fantasy art books in the english language. We also have a large collection of UFO books. MEET THE CREW
Captain - SUSIE and First Officer - VINCE. Who when are not working at their normal jobs run Magic Galaxies in their free time. We operate on bookmarkets, bookfairs, fantasy fairs and science fiction conventions in the weekends in and around Holland . You can find us every Friday on the Spui Bookmarket in Amsterdam. (except when we are on a weekend fair/on holiday of course). Our mission is to bring the fans S/F and fantasy books out of the dark, dusty corner of second hand book stores. To preserve and circulate the grand old masters and out of print books. To promote the new and lesser known writers. To import new books on Fantasy Art and Science Fiction Film/Tv-series that are not widely available in Holland. And with us you can still look through a book before you make the decision to buy it as opposed to getting it on the internet. But if you can't come to our fairs of course we are allways willing to post a book to you:). We operate a book search service. If you are looking for that certain elusive title, first edition, limited edition, out of print or just plain hard to find, then get in touch and we will let the intergalactic blood hounds loose. It's gotta be a worth a try, who knows we just may be able to help. We are always looking out for good quality second hand books on all the mentioned topics. If you are cleaning up your book collection or your gaming room :) get in touch with us. We will allways try to make you a FAIR offer. As we go along you will find our agenda of our landing sites here. Be patient, we just started our page on facebook and since this is a hobby for us we have to find time to do this as well:):)

Tomorrow, Friday 8 May, we are back again at our Spui Bookmarket with a good and varied collection of 2nd hand science fiction and fantasy paperbacks small and larger, classic ones and not so old ones.
In our new section we have game and fantasy paperbacks, hardbacks and art books on one side from World of Warcraft to Halo, film/tv-series on the other side from Star Wars to Doctor Who, Aliens and more.

At our special table we have a small selection of old detectives, esoteric or new age books, used Star Trek and Doctor Who paperbacks.

Tomorrow, Friday 24 April we are back again at the Spui Bookmarket in the center of Amsterdam.
This time at the head of the market, with 2,5 stands of science fiction, fantasy, film/tv, game and art books from all this genre!

On the Spui we have of course much more second hand books and less new books but still lots of new game paperbacks, game art books, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Aliens, Stranger Things and more paperbacks and Art books of your favorite tv-series.

This weekend 11 end 12 April, it's time for our favorite fair, FACTS Heroes Comic Con in Belgium, Gent at Flanders Expo.
You can find us at our stand of B50 in the Geek Hall.
We have a great selection of new books, art books and paperbacks, from Star Wars to Star Trek, Doctor Who to Stranger Things, Avatar to Nightmare Before Xmas and more. Also game Art books and paperbacks from Warhammer to World of Warcraft, Critical Role to Death Stranding, Destiny to Halo..
A new collection of Terry Pratchett paperbacks with original covers and hardbacks, Harry Potter books, P.K. Dick paperbacks and Asimov books, you can find them all on our stand.
In the back of our stand you can find a good selection of second hand science fiction and fantasy paperbacks, classic and newer types as well.

We are getting ready for FACTS in Gent next weekend 11-12 April, so we will have plenty of new books as well.

Tomorrow, Friday, 27 March, you can find us again at our regular stand on the Bookmarket on the Spui in the Centre of Amsterdam.
We'll have 2 stands and an extra table to display a good selection of science fiction and fantasy mass market and other size paperbacks.
In our new section of Fantasy and game books we have Warhammer to World of Warcraft, Halo, D&D and more. We also have titles of Brandon Sanderson, The Wheel of Time series, just in JRR Tolkien books and more. Our art books on this side are Art of Games, from Final Fantasy to Halo, Harry Potter Art books to mention a few, also we just in How to draw Artbooks for budding and more advanced artist.
In our new film/tv-series section we have just in a large selection of mass market paperback Star Wars, all formats of Doctor Who, The Witcher, Aliens but also P.K. Dick, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, H.P. Lovecraft and a selection of art books of Star Wars, Doctor Who, Cookbooks of tv-series and more.
On our extra table we have UFO and other not of this world paperbacks, Star Trek paperbacks, Doctor Who little hardbacks and a box of good old detectives:-)

We will have a good collection of sci-fi and fantasy paperbacks, some secondhand art books of GOT, Steampunk, Batmobile and more. Also newer type bigger format fantasy series and Science Fiction Encyclopedia... Good weather tomorrow, so our UFO collection and other otherworldly stuff, Star Trek paperbacks, Doctor Who small hardbacks and a collection of old detectives will be on a special table as well.

We'll have secondhand, a mix of science fiction and fantasy books as well as, Star Trek and Doctor Who and a small selection of otherworldly stuff as UFO's, esoteric and new... one box of really old detectives!
Our new collection has game paperbacks and art books from Halo to World of Warcraft, Warhammer... Terry Pratchett both formats, Harry Potter books hardbacks and paperbacks, Outlander titles, but also new books of Brian Sanderson, R.A. Salvatore, Robert Jordans...
In our film/tv section we have new and used Star Wars paperbacks, Doctor Who books in all formats, The Witcher series but here you can also find our new titles P.K. Dick, H.P. Lovecraft titles.

Tomorrow, Friday 6 March, is our first spring bookfair😀on the Spui Bookmarket in Amsterdam.

Thanks to the beautiful weather we will have more space to display our collection of sci-fi, fantasy, game books, 2nd hand and new.
We have newer 2nd hand fantasy this time as well, unfortunately these are published in bigger tradeback formats, but still if you are looking for those check our stand out.
And of course we have our new collection of game tie-in, Terry Pratchett, Harry Potter books, also art books of Games, Harry Potter films, World of Warcraft, Frank Frazetta to mention a few.
On our film side our newly printed Star Wars paperbacks to Doctor Who editions, Dune series but also new editions of Isaac Asimov from Foundation to the Robot books as well.

On our outside table we have 4 boxes of new age, esoteric, old detectives and Star Trek paperbacks, Doctor Who hardbacks.
